Day 1\ Border Meeting – Jerash – Amman

Meeting at the border with a company representative. 

Jerash is one of the best-preserved provincial Roman cities in the world, often called “a favorite of archaeologists.” Jerash, or Gerasa as it was known in ancient times, was one of the Near Eastern provincial cities of the Roman Empire. Numerous buildings of different purposes can be seen here: a triumphal arch, temples, a colonnaded street, amphitheaters, a hippodrome, and an oval plaza.

Transfer to Amman.

Hotel accommodation.

Dinner.

Day 2\ Amman – Petra

Breakfast. Petra is a city that was inhabited since prehistoric times and served as the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom. It was located between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea and was an important crossroads of trade caravan routes between Arabia, Egypt, and Syria. Petra is a city half built and half carved into the rock, surrounded by mountains with winding gorges. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and is currently listed among the New Seven Wonders of the World. Here, Eastern architectural traditions intertwine with Hellenistic ones. This is a place worth seeing, as it leaves no one indifferent. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 3\ Amman – Mount Nebo – Madaba – Sheikh Hussein

Breakfast in the hotel. Mount Nebo is the pride of Jordan, a sacred place and a breathtaking corner of the land, mentioned in the Book of Books—the Bible—as the presumed place of the death of the Prophet Moses, and most importantly, the place where God showed him the Promised Land. Mount Nebo (or Nebo) is located 7 km west of Madaba. Madaba, where in the Church of St. George you will see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land. Transfer to the border – departure.
